Description

Some of the most useful things we sell are the smallest. This is a slim inline quick connector with a clear body, made to join a single circuit within a run of flex without a bulky housing breaking the line. It takes the same 8mm thread as our cable grips, so it belongs to a build rather than sitting awkwardly beside it. Being clear, it reads as part of the cable rather than a component added to it.

We reach for these when a flex needs to be broken at a sensible point, or when a lead has to meet a fitting tidily and a joint would otherwise be the thing your eye lands on. They suit anyone assembling their own lighting from parts: lampholder, flex, grip, connector, plugtop. Because the shell is clear, it all but vanishes against a pale ceiling and against clear flex, which counts for a good deal when the cable itself is the visible part of the design.

The clear shell keeps everything contained and the profile low, at 45mm end to end, so a length of cable still looks like a length of cable. It is meant for dry rooms indoors, kept well away from splashes and weather, on an ordinary household supply. Cleaning asks for very little: run a dry cloth along the body when dust settles, isolate the circuit before you handle it, and keep solvents away from the housing. It carries a one year warranty.
