Description

We stock the Points in black as a focused accent head for low-voltage magnetic track. It is an integrated 12W LED fitting in a black aluminium housing, giving 580 lumens of warm white light at 3000K through a tight 40 degree beam. The head attaches to compatible 24V DC magnetic track using a connector at the top of the housing, so it clicks into place and repositions along the rail without tools, letting you aim light exactly where you want it.

We see the Points used for accent lighting in retail, gallery and hospitality settings, where the narrow 40 degree beam concentrates light onto artwork, product displays or architectural features without spilling much beyond the target. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white that suits warm-toned interiors and flatters skin tones and natural materials. Its 90 CRI rating renders colours accurately, which matters when lighting artwork, textiles or products where colour perception counts.

The Points runs on 24V DC magnetic track and draws 12W, with a non-dimmable output that stays consistent in use. It is rated IP20, so it is for indoor dry locations only and not suitable for damp or outdoor positions. The black aluminium body helps spread heat along the fitting to keep the LED within its operating range. Fitting should be handled by a qualified electrician, and the magnetic track and its driver are ordered separately to suit your run.

Frequently Asked

Is it dimmable?

No. This 12W Points head has a fixed output and is non-dimmable, so the brightness stays consistent in use. Other heads in the Points range include dimmable versions if you need to vary the level.

What track does it fit?

It attaches to compatible 24V DC magnetic track using a connector at the top of the housing, so it clicks in and repositions along the rail without tools. The track and its driver are ordered separately.

How wide is the beam?

It gives a tight 40 degree beam, which concentrates 580 lumens of warm white light onto a specific area such as artwork or a product display without spilling much light beyond the target zone.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only, so keep it to spaces away from moisture such as retail units, galleries, offices and living areas rather than bathrooms.
