Description
We stock the Points in black as a compact accent head for 48V AC track. It houses a 12W integrated LED giving 760 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, thrown through a tight 36 degree beam so you get a defined pool of light rather than a broad wash. The matt black aluminium body keeps the optics recessed behind an anti-glare baffle, and the head clips onto the track rail so you can slide it into position without any re-wiring.
We recommend it for retail floors, galleries, hospitality spaces and homes where you want to pick out artwork, product displays, an architectural feature or a run of worktop. The 36 degree beam draws a clean circle of light onto whatever you point it at, and because each head simply clips on, you can space several along a single track to layer light across a wall or counter and reposition them whenever the display changes.
The warm 2700K colour is close to old halogen and incandescent bulbs, and a CRI of 90 keeps colours reading accurately under it, which matters for merchandise and art. The aluminium housing sheds LED heat on its own with no vents or fans, so the outside stays cool in use. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor spaces, it is not dimmable, and it runs only on dedicated 48V AC track, not on standard UK mains track.

Frequently Asked
What track does this fit?
It is built for 48V AC track systems only. The head clips straight onto the rail and slides along it, so you can set its position without re-wiring, but it will not work on standard 240V UK mains track.
Is it dimmable?
No. This Points head runs at a fixed 12W output of 760 lumens, so there is no dimming control. If you need to vary the level, we would point you towards a dimmable head in the range instead.
What is the light like?
It gives 760 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, close to old halogen, through a 36 degree beam that makes a defined pool rather than a wide wash. A CRI of 90 keeps colours accurate, so it suits artwork and product displays.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it to living spaces, retail, galleries and similar interiors, away from damp, splashes and the weather.
