Description

We stock the Points as an 18W LED track light in matt black, built for directional accent and task lighting. An array of LED modules sits recessed behind the aluminium body, and the fitting runs on 48V AC track rather than mounting straight to the ceiling, so you get focused light exactly where you point it.

It clips onto compatible 48V AC track and slides along the rail, so you can reposition it as a display or layout changes without any rewiring. The 36 degree beam keeps light on the zone you want, which makes it a good fit over gallery walls, retail displays, kitchen worktops and office desks where you need a defined pool of light rather than a general wash.

The output is dimmable, so you can take it from full brightness down to a lower level to suit the time of day or the task. The black aluminium housing draws heat away from the LED modules without external fins, and the IP20 rating means it is made for dry indoor spaces only, so keep it away from bathrooms and other damp areas. It carries a G energy rating.

Frequently Asked

What track does this fit?

It is made for 48V AC track systems. The head clips onto a compatible 48V AC rail and slides along it, so please check your track is 48V before ordering.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable, so you can set it from full brightness down to a softer level to suit the time of day or the task in hand.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms, other damp rooms or outdoor spots. It works well over worktops, desks and display walls indoors.

How focused is the beam?

It gives a 36 degree beam, which is a fairly tight spread for picking out artwork, merchandise or a work surface without spilling much light onto the areas around it.
