Description

We stock the Points as a 12W LED track light module for 48V track systems. Twelve individual 1W emitters sit in circular apertures along a 600mm white aluminium bar, each behind a frosted polycarbonate diffuser, giving an even line of light directed at a 36 degree beam. Because the output is spread along the bar rather than coming from a single head, it lays down more even light with fewer hard shadows across a long surface.

We reach for the Points module for retail display, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and other spaces where you want adjustable directional light. It clips into standard 48V magnetic track and can be repositioned along the rail by hand without tools, and the bar angles to aim the light where you need it. The 48V system keeps the mains conversion in a remote driver, away from the track itself. The IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor use only.

The white powder-coated finish matches white track and blends into white or light ceilings, so the module stays discreet when it is not lit. It is dimmable on a compatible 48V track dimmer, giving you control from full brightness down to a lower level. It runs at 48V AC through the track and its remote driver, so there is no mains voltage at the track rail itself.

Frequently Asked

How is this different from the standard Points 12W track light?

This is the 12W Track Light Module: a 600mm bar carrying twelve 1W emitters for an even line of light, rather than a single-head spot. It is built for 48V magnetic track.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The module dims on a compatible 48V track dimmer, so you can set it from full brightness down to a softer level to suit the display or room.

What track does it fit?

It clips into standard 48V magnetic track. The 48V system keeps the mains conversion in a remote driver, so there is no high voltage at the track rail. It can be repositioned along the track by hand.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor spaces only, such as retail displays, galleries and kitchens. It is not rated for bathrooms or outdoor use.
