Description

We stock the Plato as a cylindrical spotlight for 24V DC track, on a low-profile circular base. It holds an integrated 7W LED giving 190 lumens of warm white (3000K) light through a wide 120 degree beam, so it casts a soft, diffused pool rather than a tight spot. The 90 CRI rating keeps colours true across warm-toned rooms, textiles and painted surfaces.

The broad 120 degree spread suits general display lighting, gentle wall washing and lifting a feature wall or set of shelves where a softer light works better than a narrow beam. Heads mount onto compatible track rails and run from a single transformer, so you can line several along one rail and rework the layout later. The matt black housing keeps its visual bulk down against a dark ceiling and sits happily in both industrial and contemporary schemes.

This is a low-voltage fitting that needs a compatible 24V DC track and transformer, and the 7W LED is integrated and non-dimmable. The IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor use. This is the 7W version in black; we also list a brighter 10W option in the same finish.

Frequently Asked

What track does this fit?

It is a 24V DC fitting, so it needs a compatible low-voltage track rail with a mains transformer. It will not run on a standard 230V mains track.

How is the 7W version different from the 10W?

This 7W model gives 190 lumens for accent and display use. The 10W version in the same black finish is brighter if you need more output from each head.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 7W LED is not dimmable, so it runs at a fixed output.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It carries an IP20 rating, so it is for dry indoor rooms away from moisture.
