Description

We stock the Plato in brass as a compact LED track light for 24V DC track. It has a circular brushed brass aluminium body with an integrated 7W LED giving 250 lumens of warm white (2700K) light through a frosted diffuser, so the output is soft rather than a hard point of glare. The head clips onto compatible 24V track and can be repositioned along the run without tools.

We use it for accent lighting on retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and home feature areas where several adjustable heads share one circuit. The wide 120 degree beam washes light across wall art, shelving and display units rather than cutting a tight pool, so it suits broad coverage. The brushed brass finish reads as a warm metallic accent alongside traditional, transitional and warm-toned contemporary schemes.

The LED renders colour well at 90 CRI, which helps where accurate colour matters, and it runs at a warm 2700K. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only and is not dimmable. This is the 7W 2700K version in brass; we also stock a 10W option and cooler colour temperatures in the same range.

Frequently Asked

Does it need mains-voltage track?

No. The Plato runs on 24V DC track, so it pairs with a compatible low-voltage track rail and power supply (sold separately) rather than mains-voltage track.

Is it dimmable?

No. This 7W head is not dimmable, so it runs at full output. If you need to vary the level, we would plan that into the circuit rather than at the fitting.

How is the light spread?

It gives 250 lumens of warm white at 2700K through a 120 degree beam, which is wider than a typical spotlight and better for washing light across walls, art and shelving.

Can I move it once it is up?

Yes. The head clips onto the 24V track and can be slid along the run and repositioned without tools, so you can adjust where the light falls later.
