Description

This SENSQUARE-W is a surface-mounted PIR motion sensor that switches connected lighting on when it detects movement, then off again after a set delay. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and is housed in a compact white plastic body measuring 76 by 58 by 110 mm, so it sits neatly on a wall or ceiling without drawing attention. Wire it in line ahead of the fitting it controls and it does the switching for you, which suits entrances, hallways, landings, garages and outbuildings.

Rated IP54, it shrugs off splashes and dust, making it fine for sheltered outdoor spots such as a porch or covered doorway, though it should be kept clear of direct water jets and full exposure. The white finish blends with most painted surfaces and the housing keeps the internals protected in damp utility areas. We also stock a range of other PIR and microwave motion sensors plus daylight sensors to suit different detection patterns and mounting needs.
