Description

The ALER JQ-30-W is a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor that switches connected lighting on when it detects movement. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and is housed in a white plastic body, making it a discreet control for entrances, hallways, porches and outbuildings. As a standalone switching device it adds automatic, hands-free operation to compatible fittings without any change to the lamps themselves.

Rated IP44, it copes with splashes and damp, so it suits sheltered outdoor positions such as covered doorways and porch areas as well as general indoor use. It should be kept clear of direct, driven rain and full exposure. Wire it in line with the lighting circuit it controls, observing the load rating of your fitting.
