Description

The SLICK JQ-L-B is a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor that switches connected lighting on automatically when it detects movement, then off again after a set delay. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and is built from black plastic, measuring 77 x 125 x 85 mm. As a standalone control unit it sits inline between the supply and the luminaire, letting you add automatic motion switching to fittings that have no sensor of their own.

With an IP44 rating it stands up to splashing water, so it suits sheltered outdoor spots such as porches, entrances and covered walkways as well as indoor halls, landings and utility areas. The black finish keeps it discreet against most surfaces. We also stock other motion and daylight sensors to match different detection ranges and mounting needs.

This is a passive infrared sensor that picks up body heat moving across its field of view. Detection range and angle vary with mounting height and position, so fit it where movement crosses the sensor face rather than walking straight towards it for the most reliable triggering.

What load can it switch?

The sensor switches lighting connected to its 220-240V AC mains output. Check the maximum connected load against your luminaire wattage before wiring, and keep within the rated load to protect the relay.

Can the time and lux settings be adjusted?
