Peline Stoneware Bowls 11cm Set of 2 - Multi

This is a pair of small stoneware bowls, each 11cm across and 3cm tall, with a capacity of 100ml. That size makes them dip and nibbles bowls rather than bowls for cereal or soup. They are wide, shallow and low enough to sit beside a plate without crowding it. The two are decorated differently. One carries sweeping leafy sprigs with small dots around its sides and a plain centre. The other has a ring of oval spots and paired dashes around a round painted centre. Both share the same stoneware body, so together they read as a matched pair with a little contrast, and the multicoloured brushwork gives them a relaxed, hand-finished look.

At 100ml each, they are sized for the small things at a table: olive oil and balsamic for bread, a soy or chilli dip, salt flakes, olives, nuts or a spoonful of chutney. For styling, set the two side by side on a board or tray with different fillings, or mix them with plainer tableware and let the painted pair bring the colour.
