Description

This is a handleless stoneware cup that holds 195ml, the right size for a coffee or a cup of tea rather than a mug. It is finished in a beige reactive glaze, speckled across its whole surface and growing paler towards the rim, so its look shifts as you turn it. A reactive glaze moves as it fires, which means no two cups come out quite alike: yours will carry its own pattern of flecks. Made of 100% stoneware and weighing 0.18KG, it feels light yet solid in the palm.

Without a handle, it is a cup to cradle in both hands, which suits a slow morning coffee at the kitchen table or tea poured from the pot after dinner.
