Pani Champagne Glasses - Clear - Set of 4

A set of four champagne flutes, each 19.5cm tall and 6cm across the foot. The bowl is a long narrow taper that runs almost straight from the rim down to a rounded point, and it stands on a short stem with a small knop at the top and a shallow disc foot. Each glass holds 200ml. The glass is clear, and the same tone runs through the bowl, the stem and the foot.

Four glasses come in a set. At 19.5cm tall on a foot only 6cm across, each one takes up very little of a laid table for its height, so four will stand along a narrow table or on a tray without crowding it. The bowl stays narrow the whole way down rather than opening out towards the rim, which keeps the surface of the wine small. The Pani range also runs to a tumbler, a highball and a wine glass in the same clear glass.

The glass is recycled. Discarded glass is collected and washed to take out impurities, then crushed, melted down and hand blown into shape, so material that had been thrown out is given a new and lasting use. Each flute is blown individually rather than pressed.
