Description

The Palladium Mini is a 33cm round wall clock combining a painted black wood frame with a two-layer face: a wooden dial with cut-out numerals on the outer ring, and a dark metal centre panel behind a glass lens. Five brass-finished cogs sit behind the glass, driven by a separate battery-powered mechanism that keeps them turning independently of the clock movement. Gold-tone hour and minute hands sweep over the central panel.

Designed for home offices, living rooms and kitchens where industrial or vintage-workshop styling fits the interior, the clock mounts on a wall via a keyhole fixing on the rear casing. The 8cm depth projection from the wall is created by the frame housing both the clock movement and the separate cog mechanism. The clock requires one AA battery for timekeeping and one LR20 battery for the cog movement — neither battery is included.

The wooden dial is hand-finished with painted numerals and cut-outs that reveal the metal backing panel beneath. The five brass cogs visible through the glass are decorative rather than functional gearing — they turn continuously when the LR20 battery is installed, but do not drive the clock hands. The clock movement produces an audible tick, typical of quartz movements without silent sweep mechanisms.
