Description

The Palace is a 22-light K9 crystal chandelier with a chrome frame, cascading K9 crystal droplets arranged in tiered layers, and a crown of chain-link crystal strands forming the upper canopy. Each of the 22 lights uses a G9 halogen or LED bulb (sold separately), rated at up to 42W per fitting, giving a combined maximum load of 924W across the chandelier.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Palace requires a minimum ceiling-to-floor clearance of 170cm when fully raised and can drop to 270cm when the chain is extended. The 80cm diameter suits rooms of 20-35m² where the chandelier can act as both primary light source and centrepiece. The chrome frame reflects ambient light during the day and multiplies the glow from the G9 bulbs when lit at night.

K9 crystal is an optical-grade glass with lead content that gives higher refractive index than standard glass, producing more pronounced light dispersion and rainbow effects when struck by direct or angled light. The tiered droplet arrangement means light refracts through multiple crystal surfaces before reaching the room, creating overlapping pools of light and shadow on walls and ceilings. At 45.5kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing — the Downloads tab includes assembly instructions with fixing guidance.

The Palace takes 22 x G9 halogen or LED bulbs, each rated at up to 42W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) to reduce running costs while maintaining light output.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier needs a minimum ceiling height of 2.7m to accommodate the 170cm minimum drop (chandelier body plus clearance from floor). The chain is adjustable on installation, allowing drops up to 270cm for double-height spaces.

How is it installed at 45.5kg?

The 45.5kg weight requires a reinforced ceiling joist or a spreading plate fixed across multiple joists. Standard plasterboard ceiling roses are not sufficient. The assembly instructions in the Downloads tab provide fixing guidance, but professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.

What is K9 crystal?
