Description
The Otto is a 41cm high bulldog figurine cast in resin and coated in high-gloss white, decorated with dripped paint in saturated reds, oranges, yellows, greens and blacks. The paint flows down from the head and back in vertical streaks that follow the contours of the sculpted bulldog form, giving each piece a hand-finished appearance. The resin body is weather-resistant and designed for year-round outdoor placement.
Sized for patios, pool surrounds, covered porches and garden borders, the Otto suits contemporary and pop-art influenced outdoor spaces where sculptural accent pieces add personality without requiring planting or maintenance. At 55cm deep and 31cm wide, the footprint is compact enough to sit on a low patio wall, a wide step, or a plinth beside an entrance. The 4.48kg weight keeps the figurine stable on flat surfaces in typical wind conditions.
The bulldog pose is a seated stance with the head turned slightly to one side, giving the sculpture a characterful presence that reads clearly from multiple angles. The high-gloss white base coat and the saturated paint drips create strong contrast under daylight, while the resin surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth when dust or pollen settles on it. From Schuller's decorative figurine collection.

Frequently Asked
Is the Otto suitable for outdoor use year-round?
Yes. The resin body and paint finish are weather-resistant and designed for outdoor placement. The high-gloss coating sheds rainwater, though placing the figurine under a porch roof or in a covered area will reduce UV exposure and help maintain the paint saturation over time.
How is the paint applied?
The multicolour drips are applied by hand over the white base coat, so the exact pattern and colour placement vary between individual pieces. This is a feature of the production method rather than a defect.
What weight is needed to keep it stable?
At 4.48kg, the Otto is stable on flat paving, decking and patio surfaces in typical wind conditions. On very exposed sites or in areas prone to high winds, the figurine can be secured with adhesive pads or a small amount of external-grade adhesive under the feet.
How is it cleaned?
Wipe with a damp microfibre cloth to remove dust, pollen or dirt. For more stubborn marks, a mild soapy water solution is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could dull the high-gloss finish.
