Osko Cutlery Set - Brushed Silver - Set of 16

A sixteen piece cutlery set in stainless steel with a brushed silver finish: four forks, four knives, four spoons and four teaspoons. Each handle is forged and worked with a hammered face, so the surface is dimpled and slightly uneven rather than flat, and the brushing takes the shine off the steel and leaves a soft grey sheen behind. The fork is 21.5cm long, the knife 22cm, the spoon 20cm and the teaspoon 13.5cm.

Four place settings, so the set lays a table for four, with four teaspoons alongside. The pieces are dishwasher safe and food safe, which keeps them in daily use rather than in a drawer for occasions. A single setting puts the fork to the left of the plate, the knife and a teaspoon to the right, and a spoon above it.

Every piece is stainless steel, and the handles are forged using traditional techniques, which is where the hammered face comes from. Because each one is worked by hand, the pattern of the dimples runs differently from piece to piece. The set arrives in a gift box. The same cutlery is made in brushed gold.

What is in the set?

Sixteen pieces: four forks, four knives, four spoons and four teaspoons.

How long is each piece?

The fork is 21.5cm, the knife 22cm, the spoon 20cm and the teaspoon 13.5cm.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, and food safe.

Does it come boxed?

Yes, in a gift box.

How do I look after it?

Wash after every use so the steel does not stain, using a mild detergent, and do not leave it to soak. Harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners will damage the finish.
