Description
We stock the Ornate as a compact LED wall light in a brass finish, built around a vertical textured glass column set on a slim rectangular base. An integrated 2W LED sits behind the glass and casts 50 lumens of warm 3000K light through the rippled surface, so you get a soft wash on the wall and a gentle glow from the column itself. We think of it as accent lighting rather than a main light, and the textured glass diffuses the LED so the source stays comfortable to look at from the side.
It suits hallways, alcoves, bedrooms and stairwell landings where you want a low level of ambient light rather than bright task lighting. At 2W and 50 lumens the output is deliberately gentle, which makes it well judged for night-time navigation or decorative mood lighting. The IP20 rating means it is made for dry indoor rooms, so we would keep it away from bathrooms and any location exposed to damp.
The brass-finish stainless steel base gives a warm metallic accent that pairs happily with brass hardware, warm wood tones and both traditional and contemporary colour schemes. The 180 degree beam angle spreads the light broadly across the wall, and with an 80 CRI colour rendering it keeps nearby surfaces looking natural. It runs on a standard 220-240V mains supply at 50Hz and is not dimmable, so it holds a steady, fixed brightness once switched on.

Frequently Asked
Is this wall light dimmable?
No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 2W and is not dimmable, so it gives a steady, soft output whenever it is switched on rather than a variable level.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
We would not recommend it. The Ornate is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry indoor rooms such as hallways, bedrooms and landings, not for bathrooms or anywhere exposed to moisture.
How bright is it and what colour is the light?
It gives 50 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, spread over a wide 180 degree beam. That is a low, decorative level suited to accent and mood lighting rather than reading or task work.
Do I need to buy a separate bulb?
No. The 2W LED is built into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It wires into a standard 220-240V mains supply.
