Description

We stock the Orign as a tall 807mm wall light built around a rectangular panel with a textured slate-effect surface, set within a black powder-coated metal frame. An integrated 70W LED runs behind the panel and casts warm white light (3000K) out through the edges, giving 1000 lumens and a backlit halo around the textured face. The high 90 CRI keeps colours looking true, and the wood-effect surface adds depth under both daylight and lamplight.

We designed this one for feature walls, hallways, staircases and reception areas where you want ambient light with a bit of character. The vertical shape suits narrow wall sections between doorways or alongside architectural features, and the 807mm height makes it the taller of the two Orign sizes we carry. A wide 120 degree beam spreads the halo evenly across the surrounding wall without harsh glare spots, so it works well on its own or in a run across a larger surface.

The metal frame sits close to the wall with concealed rear fixings for a clean finish. It runs on standard mains voltage (AC 220-240V, 50Hz) with no separate driver to house, and the integrated LED is not dimmable, so it gives a steady output at the level shown. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use and carries a G energy class.

Frequently Asked

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated into the panel, so there is nothing extra to fit. It draws 70W and gives 1000 lumens of warm white light at 3000K straight from the mains.

Is it dimmable?

No. This Orign runs at a fixed output, so it is not dimmable and does not work on a dimmer switch. It gives a steady 1000 lumens whenever it is switched on.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

How does it differ from the 607mm Orign?

This is the taller 807mm version of the same black wood-effect wall light. We also stock a 607mm size in the same finish, so you can match the height to your wall.
