Description

We stock the Opus in grey as a sculptural pendant built around a free-form metal frame that loops around a central frosted glass sphere. It takes one G9 bulb up to 28W (sold separately), which sits within the frosted sphere so the light diffuses softly through the glass rather than glaring from a bare bulb. The frame and matching canopy are finished in grey powder-coated metal with a matt texture that keeps reflections low.

We picture the Opus over a dining table, a kitchen island or in a hallway where you want a soft, indirect glow and a shape that reads well from every angle. The irregular metal loop and nested glass sphere give it a balanced, slightly asymmetric profile, and the grey finish sits cleanly against concrete, grey tiling and cool-toned neutral walls. It suits contemporary and Scandinavian-style rooms where the form matters as much as the light.

The Opus hangs on a wire cable with a 1200mm drop that you can adjust on installation, so it can sit low over a table or higher in an open space. It runs on 220-240V and is rated IP20 for dry interior use only, so keep it away from bathrooms and other damp areas. The G9 bulb is not included; fit a dimmable G9 bulb with a compatible dimmer if you want to vary the brightness.

Frequently Asked

What bulb does it take, and is one included?

It takes a single G9 bulb up to 28W, which is not included, so you can choose the colour temperature and brightness that suit the room. The bulb sits inside the frosted glass sphere for a soft, diffused glow.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable G9 bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer (both sold separately). That lets you take it from full brightness down to a soft glow over a table.

Where can I use it?

It is rated IP20 for dry interior use only, so it is ideal over dining tables, kitchen islands and in hallways, but not suitable for bathrooms or other damp areas.

How far down does it hang, and can I adjust it?

It comes with a 1200mm cable drop that you can shorten on installation, so you can hang it low over a table or higher in an open space to suit your ceiling height.
