Description

We stock the ONDA as an 18W LED track light in a white aluminium body for single-circuit track. The integrated LED gives 1490 lumens of warm white light at 3000K through a wide 120 degree beam, and the head rotates and tilts on its track mount so you can redirect the light after it is fitted. With a CRI of 90 it shows fabric and surface colours accurately, without the colour shift you get from lower-CRI sources.

The wide 120 degree spread washes light across an area rather than picking out a single point, so we would reach for the ONDA to light a wall section, a run of shelving or a kitchen worktop rather than for pinpoint accent work. It suits retail displays, gallery walls and corridors, and the white finish sits quietly against white or light-toned ceiling track without standing out. It runs on a 220-240V mains supply.

The aluminium housing draws heat away from the 18W LED without needing external cooling fins. This LED is not dimmable, and the IP20 rating keeps it to dry indoor rooms only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens exposed to steam or any outdoor spot. It fits standard single-circuit track systems.

What track does it fit?

It fits standard single-circuit track systems. The head clips onto the track and then rotates and tilts on its mount, so you can aim the light where you need it once the fitting is in place.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable, so it runs at its full 1490 lumen output at 3000K warm white and cannot be turned down on a dimmer.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is for dry indoor rooms only. We would not fit it in a bathroom, a kitchen exposed to steam, or anywhere outside.

Is it better for spotlighting or general lighting?

General lighting. The wide 120 degree beam spreads light across an area, so it is well suited to washing a wall or lighting a run of shelving rather than picking out a single object with a narrow beam.
