The Offset in PC for Electric Cable is a small lighting accessory with one plain job: it takes the electric cable of a light and leads it out to the side. Its body is clear, so it reads as little more than a bead on the line, and a dark ring sits across the top of it. The cable passes in and loops back out through a collar on one side of the body, which is what gives the offset its name. It is a compact part, 3.2cm at its longest, with its other sides 2cm and 1.6cm. As an accessory, it gives no light of its own.

It suits anyone who wants a cable to take a neater line, and because the body is clear it draws the eye to the light rather than to the part that guides its cable. We think of it as one of those small pieces that make a finished job look considered. It is an indoor accessory, and it carries no IP rating, so it is for dry rooms only: living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and studies all suit it.
