Description

The Ocellis is a 57cm LED pendant light built around a continuous rose gold aluminium loop with an opal silicone diffuser running along its inner edge. An integrated 45W LED strip inside the loop casts 3000K warm white light through the opal diffuser, creating even illumination without visible point sources. The rose gold finish on the aluminium provides a warm metallic accent that reads somewhere between copper and champagne depending on surrounding light.

Designed for dining tables, bedroom pendants and entrance halls, the Ocellis hangs on three stainless steel cables adjustable between 45cm and 125cm drop. For a 2.4m ceiling height over a dining table the pendant typically sits 60-80cm above the surface, giving ambient and task light without obstructing sightlines. The 57cm diameter suits tables 140-200cm long or island worktops of similar length. The loop design means the fitting has visual presence from all angles rather than a defined front and back.

The aluminium loop is brushed rather than polished, softening reflections and reducing fingerprint visibility during installation. The opal diffuser is silicone rather than glass, keeping the 1.54kg weight manageable for standard UK ceiling roses. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments, it is not suitable for bathrooms or covered outdoor areas. The Class 1 earthed construction requires connection to an earthed ceiling supply.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable cable drop ranges from 45cm to 125cm. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 60-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the Ocellis if the cables are shortened during installation.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor environments. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or covered outdoor areas.

What is the rose gold finish like?

The rose gold is a brushed aluminium finish that reads warmer than polished brass and cooler than copper. The brushed texture reduces reflections and fingerprint visibility compared to a polished metallic finish.
