Description

The NovaLite is a 200mm diameter flush-mount LED light designed for ceiling or wall installation, with a white powder-coated aluminium body and an opal plastic diffuser covering an integrated 11W LED. The LED produces 3000K warm white light with a reflected emission pattern, directing light upwards against the mounting surface before it diffuses back through the opal cover, reducing direct glare and distributing illumination evenly across the room.

Designed for residential hallways, landings, bathrooms, utility rooms and office corridors where a low-profile fitting is needed for ceilings under 2.4m or walls requiring evenly distributed light without a visible bulb. The 200mm footprint suits spaces where a larger flush fitting would dominate, and the 11W output provides sufficient ambient light for rooms up to 8-10m². The IP20 rating limits this fitting to dry indoor areas only — it cannot be used in bathroom zones 1 or 2, or outdoors.

The powder-coated aluminium body is sealed to the opal diffuser with a bayonet-style twist-lock fitting, allowing access to the LED module for future replacement if needed. The white finish blends into white or light-toned ceilings, and the shallow 40mm projection from the mounting surface makes the fitting suitable for rooms with limited ceiling height. The integrated LED runs on mains voltage without requiring an external transformer.

Is the NovaLite dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches and must be wired to a standard on/off circuit.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating means it can be used in bathrooms outside of zones 1 and 2 — typically on the ceiling or wall more than 0.6m from the edge of a bath or shower cubicle. It cannot be installed directly above a bath or inside a shower enclosure.

What size room does it suit?

The 11W output provides ambient light for rooms up to 8-10m² depending on ceiling height and room colour. For larger spaces, multiple NovaLite fittings or a higher-output flush fitting would be more appropriate.

How is the LED accessed if it fails?
