Description

The NovaLite is a 15cm round flush ceiling and wall light with an integrated 9.5W LED casting warm 3000K light through an opal plastic diffuser. The powder-coated white aluminium body sits 40mm from the mounting surface, making it suitable for low-ceiling rooms and corridors where pendant fittings would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bathrooms (non-splash zones — IP20 rated), bedrooms and home offices requiring even ambient light without glare, the NovaLite mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or wall back box. The opal diffuser spreads light evenly across the 150mm diameter, reducing harsh shadows and providing comfortable illumination for reading, working or navigating spaces. The reflected light emission keeps brightness off direct sightlines when entering a room.

The white powder-coated aluminium finish is hardwearing and pairs cleanly with white ceilings and walls in contemporary, minimalist and Scandinavian-style interiors. The compact 15cm diameter allows multiple units to be installed in a row along a corridor or above a bathroom mirror without overwhelming the space. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, reducing ongoing maintenance and bulb replacement costs.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The NovaLite carries an IP20 rating, which means it is not protected against water spray or steam. It can be used in bathrooms outside zones 1, 2 and 3 — typically 60cm or more away from baths, showers and basins. For installation directly above a mirror near a basin, check UK bathroom lighting zone regulations or consult a qualified electrician.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation. At typical domestic usage of 3 hours per day, this equates to around 22 years before the light output degrades significantly.

What projection does it have from the ceiling or wall?

The fitting projects approximately 40mm from the mounting surface. This low profile makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or lower where pendant lights would intrude into headroom.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and should not be connected to a dimmer switch circuit.
