Description
The Nordica is a single-head adjustable wall spotlight with a matt white cylindrical shade mounted on a beech wood arm, finished with a black-and-white braided cable running from the wall plate to the shade. The spotlight head tilts on the beech wood pivot, allowing light to be directed onto a bedside reading position, a hallway wall, or downward onto a desk surface.
Designed for bedrooms, hallways, home offices and reading corners, the Nordica provides directed task light without needing a table lamp or floor lamp. The 310mm projection from the wall gives clearance to angle the light past a headboard or shelf, while the compact 160mm width keeps the fitting unobtrusive on narrower walls. The beech wood arm adds warmth against painted plaster or wallpaper, and the matt white shade softens the light diffusion compared to a bare metal reflector.
The spotlight takes a standard E27 bulb up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament depending on the light temperature and brightness needed. The braided cable detail between the wall plate and the shade is decorative as well as functional, concealing the electrical run in a textile finish that pairs with Scandinavian and mid-century interiors. At 0.8kg the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard with appropriate fixings included.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Nordica take?
The spotlight takes one E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 5-8W and 2700K-3000K for reading or ambient light.
Is the spotlight head adjustable?
Yes. The shade pivots on the beech wood arm, allowing light to be directed upward, downward, or angled toward a specific position such as a bedside reading area or desk surface.
Can it be used as bedside lighting?
Yes. The 310mm projection from the wall gives sufficient clearance to mount the spotlight above a headboard and angle the light down onto a pillow or bedside table without the bulb being visible from a lying position.
Is the Nordica dimmable?
Yes, provided you use a dimmable E27 bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself does not restrict dimming, but both the bulb and the dimmer must be matched for smooth operation.
