Description
The Nebula is a dual-shade LED wall light combining an outer shimmered glass enclosure with an inner cone of layered clear polycarbonate, mounted on a chrome-finished circular backplate and arm. The 5W integrated LED sits within the polycarbonate core, casting 450 lumens of 3000K warm white light that diffuses through both layers, giving the fitting a glowing, jewel-like appearance when lit.
Designed for hallways, living room accent positions, bedroom flanking or bathroom vanity mirrors where an IP20 fitting is acceptable, the Nebula provides ambient rather than task lighting. The 30cm height and 17cm projection suit wall spaces where a compact fitting is needed without dominating the vertical plane. The chrome arm and backplate reflect surrounding tones, making the fitting visually lighter in bright interiors and allowing it to pair with both cool greys and warm neutrals.
The layered polycarbonate inner cone creates visible depth when viewed from an angle, with the ridged structure catching and refracting light through the shimmered outer glass. This double-diffusion softens the point source of the LED and prevents glare when the fitting is mounted at eye level. The 0.8kg weight allows installation onto standard plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings, and the Class 1 earthed metal construction requires connection to a lighting circuit with earth continuity.

Frequently Asked
Is the Nebula dimmable?
The integrated 5W LED is not stated as dimmable in the specification. For dimming control, check with an electrician whether your existing circuit dimmer is LED-compatible, or contact us to confirm compatibility before installation.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
The IP20 rating means the Nebula is suitable only for dry interior locations. It cannot be used within bathroom zones where moisture ingress is likely (zones 1, 2 or 3). It can be used in a bathroom only if mounted outside those zones and in a well-ventilated area with minimal steam exposure.
What mounting height works best?
With the LED sitting within the polycarbonate cone, the fitting is designed to be viewed from the side or below rather than directly from above. Mounting at 1.5-1.8m from floor level suits most hallway and living room applications, placing the light source at a comfortable height without glare.
How is the shimmered glass cleaned?
The outer glass shade can be wiped with a soft, dry microfibre cloth when the power is isolated. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the fitting as it may run into the backplate mounting or onto the chrome finish.
