Description

The Narisa is a 47cm diameter pendant light built from five interconnected chrome-plated forms arranged in a fluid, organic pattern around an internal opal acrylic diffuser. Five G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the diffuser, casting soft ambient light outward through the translucent panel while the polished chrome exterior reflects surrounding colours and architectural features.

Designed for dining areas, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights between 2.6m and 3.6m, the Narisa's adjustable cable allows the pendant to be set between 45cm and 135cm drop from the ceiling rose. The 3.94kg weight and 47cm footprint suit positions over dining tables, kitchen islands or central living room zones where the sculptural form can be appreciated from multiple angles. The chrome finish catches both natural daylight and artificial evening lighting, changing appearance throughout the day.

The rounded, pebble-like chrome elements overlap to create negative space around the central diffuser, giving the pendant visual movement without mechanical parts. The mirror-finish chrome is electroplated onto a metal base structure, providing durability and a high-gloss surface that requires occasional wiping with a microfibre cloth to maintain reflectivity. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

Each of the five G9 sockets accepts bulbs up to 10W, giving flexibility to choose halogen or LED light sources depending on the desired brightness and colour temperature. The pendant ships with assembly instructions and mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose via the adjustable cable and canopy.

What bulbs does the Narisa take?

The pendant uses five G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 10W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit G9 LED bulbs rated between 2.5W and 5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining or living room lighting.

Can the pendant height be adjusted?

Yes. The cable allows adjustment between 45cm and 135cm drop from the ceiling rose during installation. This suits ceiling heights from 2.6m to 3.6m depending on the desired clearance above furniture.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only. The pendant is not protected against moisture and should not be installed in bathrooms, kitchens directly above hobs or sinks, or any outdoor or damp location.

How is the chrome finish maintained?

Wipe the chrome surface periodically with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with water is acceptable, but avoid chemical cleaners or abrasive materials that can dull or scratch the mirror finish.
