Description

The Nans S/31 Outrack is an outdoor track pendant light with a woven shade, made to hang from the Outrack track. Its shade, Brown with Beige and Light Grey, is woven from synthetic fibre and sits on a Brown structure. The shade is 30.7cm tall and 31.5cm across, and it hangs on a 200cm suspension. An integrated LED of 12.6W means there is no bulb to buy or change, and its output is 276lm, 281lm or 291lm by version. A CRI of 90 keeps faces, food and planting looking true to colour.

With an IP54 rating, it is made for outdoor use: hang it from a pergola, over a terrace or patio, or along a covered walkway in the garden, where a run of shades can light a dining table or a seating area after dark. It is part of the Outrack range, a 24V DC track system, and it needs two parts sold separately: the Outrack track it fits, which carries the pendant and its power, and an Outrack 24V power supply for the track, which feeds the track from the mains at 24V DC. Without both, the pendant will not light. The pendant itself is Class III, so it runs only on extra-low voltage from that supply.

The Nans S/31 Outrack is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre, and its IP54 rating means it is protected against dust and splashing water. The weave is open enough to let the light through in a fine lattice, so the shade reads as a soft lantern rather than a solid drum. This is a system fitting, and the track and its power supply are for a qualified electrician to install. When you order, choose 2400K for the warmest light, 2700K for a soft warm white or 3000K for a crisper warm white, to suit how you use the space after dark.
