Description

The Nans PF/16 is a woven LED outdoor ceiling light: a short cylindrical shade of synthetic fibre, woven in an open lattice, set on a slim stem beneath a round Graphite Brown canopy. The shade is Red (with Orange and Beige), the three colours worked together through the weave, and the light glows through every opening. It is compact: 24.3cm tall overall, with a shade 16.5cm tall and 16.7cm across and a canopy 12cm across and 4cm tall. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 8W and gives 285lm of warm white light at 2700K, with a CRI of 90 so colours look true.

This is a light made for outdoors. It is rated IP54, which means it is protected against dust and splashing water, so it suits outdoor use: the ceiling of a porch, a veranda or a covered terrace, the underside of a pergola, or the spot over a front door where it greets guests. At 285lm it gives a soft, welcoming glow rather than a floodlight's glare. That suits eating outside or lighting the way to the door. Being TRIAC dimmable, it works with a compatible dimmer, so you can bring it down low late in the evening.
