Description

The Nans Bag/38/R is a low, wide outdoor floor lamp, shaped like a generous woven basket and 60cm across. Its shade is an open lattice of synthetic fibre in Red (with Orange and Beige), set off by a Red finish. An integrated LED inside gives 443lm of light, so there is no bulb to buy or change. A flat, dark top closes the opening, and two teak handles sit across it so you can lift the lamp and carry it to wherever you want the glow. Once lit, the light comes softly through every gap in the weave, and the red and orange glow brightly against the dark.

It runs on a rechargeable battery, charged by USB-C, so there is no cable trailing across the paving and no fixed spot it has to stay near. Rated IP44 and made for outdoor use, it suits a terrace, a patio, a balcony or a quiet corner of the garden. It sits happily on the ground beside outdoor seating or along a path. On a cooler evening, carry it back inside and it settles just as well in a living room, beside a sofa or in an empty corner that needs some soft, low light. We think it suits anyone who likes to eat and sit outside after dark and wants light that goes where they go, without planning a single wire.
