Description

We stock the Namiki as a wooden-slat LED pendant light in a 350mm size, built from curved natural birch ribs on a matt black metal canopy. An integrated 14W LED sits within the slats and casts light through the gaps, throwing soft shadow patterns across the walls and ceiling around it. The birch is left natural so the grain and tonal variation show, which sits comfortably with Scandi, mid-century and contemporary rooms.

We would hang the Namiki over a dining table, a breakfast bar or a kitchen island, where the sculptural slatted form can be seen from below and the diffused light works as gentle ambient lighting. The 120 degree beam angle and the spacing between the birch ribs spread the light widely rather than pooling it in one spot, so it lights the surface below and the space around it without harsh glare.

The integrated LED is non-replaceable and non-dimmable, drawing 14W and giving between 254 and 287 lumens depending on the colour temperature you choose. It comes in 2700K warm white, 3000K neutral white or 4000K cool white, with a CRI of 80 and an IP20 rating that keeps it to dry indoor rooms. It runs on 220-240V mains and carries a G energy rating. The larger 350mm size gives it more presence than the 265mm Namiki in the same range.

Frequently Asked

Does it come with the bulb?

Yes. The LED is built into the fitting and cannot be removed or replaced, so there is no separate bulb to buy. It draws 14W and gives between 254 and 287 lumens depending on the colour temperature you pick.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable, so we would not fit it to a dimmer switch. You can choose the mood at purchase instead by selecting the 2700K warm white, 3000K neutral white or 4000K cool white version.

Where can I use it?

It carries an IP20 rating, so it is for dry indoor rooms only and not for bathrooms or outdoors. We would hang it over a dining table, breakfast bar or kitchen island where the slatted form can be appreciated from below.

How is this different from the smaller Namiki?

This is the 350mm size in the Namiki range. There is also a 265mm version if you want the same wooden-slat look in a more compact fitting for a tighter space.
