Description

The Mystiva is a 114 x 31cm rectangle wall mirror with a bevelled glass panel set inside a narrow silver plastic frame. The 114cm height provides full or near-full-length reflection when mounted vertically, depending on the user's height and the mirror's placement on the wall.

Designed for narrow wall spaces in hallways, bedrooms, dressing areas and bathrooms, the Mystiva's vertical proportions suit alcoves, the space between doorways, or alongside wardrobes where a wider mirror would interrupt the flow of the room. The 2cm frame depth keeps the mirror close to the wall, minimising projection in tight spaces. At 8kg the mirror requires two D-rings or keyhole fixings into solid wall anchors or studs.

The silver finish on the plastic frame has a low-sheen metallic appearance that pairs with chrome bathroom fittings, brushed nickel door handles and cooler-toned paint schemes. The plastic construction keeps the weight manageable compared to solid timber or metal frames of equivalent size, making the mirror easier to hang and reposition. The bevelled edge on the glass panel softens the transition between the frame and the reflective surface.

The Mystiva requires wall fixings suitable for 8kg load. Use D-rings or keyhole brackets on the rear of the frame, fixed into wall plugs rated for plasterboard or masonry depending on your wall type. Two fixings are recommended for stability.

Is the glass bevelled?

Yes. The mirror glass has a bevelled edge, which creates a sloped border around the perimeter of the reflective surface and softens the visual transition between glass and frame.

Can it be hung horizontally?

The mirror can physically be mounted horizontally, but the 114 x 31cm proportions are designed for vertical use. Horizontal mounting would create an unusually wide, narrow strip of reflection that suits very few applications.

How do I clean the mirror?

Use a standard glass cleaner or a solution of distilled water and white vinegar applied with a lint-free microfibre cloth. Wipe the plastic frame with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners on both the glass and the frame.
