Description

The Murané is a pendant light built around a 15cm sphere of Smoke Grey glass, its surface rippled all over so the glass catches and bends the light. A small cylinder in Brushed Champagne holds the sphere at the top, and it hangs on a slim cable with a maximum drop of 300cm, so you can set it at the height that suits your room. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 167lm of warm white light at 2700K, with a CRI of 90 that keeps colours looking natural, and draws 2.7W or 4W depending on the version.

At 15cm across, it sits comfortably over a dining table or beside a favourite chair in the living room, where the Smoke Grey glass gives a soft, low glow rather than a bright one. Hang one on its own, or several in a line over a longer table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. We sell it in two versions. With canopy, it comes with its own canopy, 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, to hang singly from the ceiling. Without canopy, for multi-pendant canopies (sold separately), it is made to join a cluster of pendants hanging from one shared canopy.

It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by an electrician. The 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, not included and sold separately, which supplies the low voltage that version runs on. Before you order, measure from ceiling to table so you know how far the sphere should hang within its 300cm maximum drop.
