This is a spare set of steel wires and power cable from our Murané R range, a lighting accessory rather than a light in itself. It is made for a Murané R light to fit, which is sold separately: the light gives the glow, while this set is what holds it in place and brings it power, so on its own it does nothing until it is paired with one. The steel wires take the weight of the fitting and the power cable carries its supply. The steel cables measure 8cm and the power cable 20cm. The wires have a clean silver colour, so they read as fine lines rather than heavy fixings.

It belongs wherever a Murané R light hangs, in a dry room: a dining room, a living room, a hallway or the well of a staircase. It suits anyone who already owns one of these lights and needs a fresh set, perhaps after moving house, reworking a ceiling or losing a part along the way. The set has no IP rating of its own, so we keep it to dry rooms only. Because it is made for the Murané R range, there is no guesswork about whether the parts will match.
