Description

The Murané R is a ring chandelier: a broad band in a Brushed Champagne finish, 120cm across, with rippled Smoke Grey glass spheres set around it, some resting on top of the ring and some hanging just beneath it. Each sphere is 15cm across, so the glass reads clearly from across the room. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. It draws 21W and gives 1177 lumens at 2700K, a warm white that suits evenings at home, and with a CRI of 90, food, fabrics and skin tones look true to life under it.

At 120cm across, this is a chandelier for a generous room. Hung over a dining table, its wide circle frames the table and spreads a soft, even glow over the meal. In a living room it sits well centred over a sofa and coffee table, giving the space a clear focal point. The Smoke Grey glass tempers the light and adds depth, while the Brushed Champagne ring has a gentle, warm sheen rather than a hard shine, so it suits both modern and more traditional schemes. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The chandelier runs at 24V DC and is Class III. It is powered from the mains, wired in by an electrician, through a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which converts the mains supply to the 24V DC the LEDs run on. It is for a qualified electrician to install. It comes without its canopy, and no version with a canopy exists, so you will also need a Murané R canopy, sold separately: the part at the ceiling that the chandelier hangs from and that finishes the connection neatly. With both ordered alongside the chandelier, your electrician will have everything needed on the day.
