Description

The Murané R is a ring chandelier: a slim band in a Brushed Champagne finish, 120cm across, set with glass spheres in Caramel, each 15cm across. Light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 21W and gives 1177lm of warm white light at 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so wood, fabric and faces look true to their colour. The Caramel glass has a rippled, uneven surface, and the spheres sit around the ring at different heights, some resting on the band and some hanging just below it.

At 120cm across, this is a chandelier for a large room. Hung over a long dining table, the ring gives the whole table a focus. In a generous living room it brings a warm centre to the ceiling, provided there is the height to hang it well clear of heads. The 2700K light and the warm tone of the Caramel glass sit happily with wood, stone and warm neutral schemes, while the Brushed Champagne band keeps the look soft rather than shiny. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The chandelier comes without its canopy, and no version is made with one, so you will need a Murané R canopy, sold separately, which covers the connection where the fitting meets the ceiling. It also needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which turns the mains supply into the 24V DC the chandelier runs on. It is powered from the mains, wired in by a qualified electrician through that driver, and it is a Class III fitting. We suggest ordering the canopy and driver alongside the chandelier, so your electrician has everything needed on the day.
