Description

The Murané R 25 is a ring chandelier: 25 pink glass spheres set around a slim band in a Brushed Champagne finish. It is 109cm across, and each sphere is 10cm across, with a rippled, textured surface that catches the light and throws it back softly. The light is integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It gives 3677 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so food, skin and fabrics keep their true colours under it. Lit, each pink sphere glows from within, and the Brushed Champagne band runs a warm metallic line between them.

We see it hung over a dining table, where a 109cm circle fills the space above a large table, or centred in a living room with enough ceiling height for it to hang well clear of heads. It suits a generous room: at this size it reads as the main light in the space, so it works best with open room around it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is an indoor fitting.

It comes without its canopy, and no version with one is made, so you will need a Murané R canopy, sold separately: it is the ceiling part the chandelier hangs from. It also needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which turns the mains supply into the 24V DC the ring runs on. The chandelier does not work without both. It runs on mains power through that driver and is wired in by a qualified electrician, who will also find a place for the remote driver. Order the canopy and the driver alongside the chandelier, so everything is ready when your electrician comes to fit it.
