The Murané R 25 is a ring chandelier: a slim circular band in a Brushed Champagne finish, set all the way round with 25 spheres of Amber glass. Each sphere is 10cm across, with a softly rippled surface that catches the light and breaks it into warm glints, and the ring is 109cm across. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 3677 lumens at 2700K, a warm white close to traditional lamplight, with a CRI of 90, so colours in the room, from timber to fabric to food, look true rather than flat.

At 109cm across, this is a chandelier for a generous room. Hung over a dining table it spreads a warm glow across the whole table; in a living room it makes a fine main ceiling light over a sofa and armchairs, where the Amber glass keeps evening light soft. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It comes without its canopy, and no version with a canopy exists, so you will need a Murané R canopy, sold separately: the ceiling part from which the chandelier hangs. It also needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which turns the mains supply into the 24V DC the chandelier runs on. It will not light without both.

The ring is finished in Brushed Champagne, a soft, low sheen tone that sits comfortably with the warmth of the Amber glass. It is a Class III fitting that runs at 24V DC: it is powered from the mains through that 24V DC driver, wired in by a qualified electrician. On a practical note, measure before you choose: a ring 109cm across wants clear space around it, so check it against the size of your table or seating area.
