Description

A duvet cover for a double bed, 200 by 200cm, woven from a blend of hemp and organic cotton and finished with narrow cream stripes. Hemp is the harder wearing of the two fibres and gives the fabric its body; the organic cotton is what takes the hardness out of it. The cover arrives folded into a fabric bag of its own.

At 200 by 200cm this is the double size, and the same cover is made for a king at 225 by 220cm and for a super king at 260 by 220cm. Hemp and cotton together make a fabric that breathes, so it does the summer as well as the winter, and the stripe is fine and low in contrast rather than bold. Mora also runs to a pair of housewife pillowcases in the same fabric and the same stone grey.

The fabric is hemp with organic cotton. Hemp grows on very little water and without chemicals and spins into a durable, breathable fibre; the organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or modified seed, and it is what gives the weave its give. The fabric bag the cover comes in stores it out of season, or does duty as a garment bag. The duvet itself and the pillowcases are not included.
