Description

These are three stoneware mugs, each holding 400ml and each carrying its own blue floral pattern. One has large open flowers drawn in fine outline, one a dense paisley of curling leaves and tiny dots, and the third a deeper blue pattern of small blooms on trailing stems. Each mug is 9.5cm across and 9.5cm tall, as wide as it is high, with a body that narrows gently toward a dark, speckled rim and a rounded loop handle. At 400ml these are generous mugs, sized for a proper builder's tea, a large milky coffee or a hot chocolate rather than a quick espresso.

Because the patterns differ but share the same blue and the same shape, the three sit together as a matched trio without looking identical, and everyone at the breakfast table can claim a favourite.
