Description

The Molly is a 110cm diameter circular LED suspension light with a sculptural infinity-loop frame in rose gold-finished brushed aluminium, housing an integrated 63W LED strip behind an opal silicone diffuser. The continuous curved ribbon design creates three overlapping loops that appear to flow through one another when viewed from below, with the LED strip embedded along the inner edge of each curve to provide indirect wash lighting upward and downward.

Designed for large open-plan living spaces, double-height hallways, dining rooms and mezzanines with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Molly provides ambient rather than task lighting. The adjustable drop can be set between 80cm and 230cm during installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned 600-900mm below a standard 2.7m ceiling or dropped further in higher rooms. The opal diffuser softens the 3000K warm white LED output to produce even, shadow-free light across the full diameter of the fitting.

The rose gold finish on the brushed aluminium frame gives a warm metallic accent that sits between copper and champagne gold in tone, with subtle chrome detailing on the canopy and suspension wires. The frame weighs 2.4kg and is supported by three fine steel suspension cables that radiate from a 38cm diameter ceiling canopy. The fitting supports both TRIAC (leading-edge/trailing-edge) and 0-10V dimming protocols, and gravity toggles are supplied for secure mounting to plasterboard or masonry ceilings.

Yes. The integrated 63W LED supports both TRIAC (leading-edge and trailing-edge) and 0-10V dimming protocols. Compatibility depends on your specific dimmer switch model — confirm with the dimmer manufacturer that it supports LED loads of at least 63W.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop can be set between 80cm and 230cm. For a standard 2.7m ceiling the fitting typically sits 600-900mm below the ceiling. Higher rooms with 3.5m+ ceilings can use the full 230cm drop to bring the pendant into the main sightline.

What size room does it suit?

The 110cm diameter and 63W output suit open-plan spaces of 25-40m² or larger where ambient lighting is needed rather than focused task light. Smaller rooms under 20m² may find the scale overwhelming.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The three-point suspension from the 38cm canopy allows minor slope accommodation, but the fitting is designed for horizontal ceilings. Slopes steeper than 15° may require additional mounting hardware not supplied with the fitting.
