Description

The Molly is a 110cm circular LED suspension light with an integrated 63W 3000K LED running through a continuous chrome-plated aluminium ring, diffused by an opal silicone cover. The ring hangs from three adjustable steel cables attached to a circular chrome ceiling rose, with gravity toggles to keep the fitting level during installation.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Molly provides wide-angle ambient light across a 2-3m radius. The 80-230cm adjustable drop allows the fitting to be set 60-90cm above a dining table or 100-150cm above floor level in an entrance hall, depending on the room proportions. The fitting supports both TRIAC dimming (for standard UK dimmer switches) and 0-10V dimming, and comes with an included RF remote for wireless control.

The chrome finish is a bright polished metal that reflects surrounding light and pairs with stainless steel appliances, polished nickel door furniture and contemporary interiors. The opal silicone diffuser softens the LED output and prevents direct view of the LED strip from below, creating an even 360° wash of warm white light. At 2.4kg the fitting is lighter than equivalent glass-ringed designs but requires a ceiling rose rated for suspension loads.

The 63W output at 5,670 lumens provides approximately the same light as four to five 60W incandescent bulbs, making the Molly suitable as the primary light source in a 15-20m² room when used at full brightness. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light similar to halogen, and the CRI >80 rating means colours render accurately under the light.

Can the cables be shortened after installation?

The cables are adjustable during installation and should be set to the desired height before final fixing. Once installed the cables can be re-adjusted by lowering the ceiling rose and resetting the cable lengths, though this requires isolating the mains supply.
