Description

We stock the Misterio as a decorative wall light built around a spherical glass globe with an iridescent finish that shifts between amber, pink and violet tones depending on your viewing angle and the light level. The globe sits cradled in a black metal bracket that holds it securely against the wall, and an integrated 6W LED inside gives 650 lumens of warm white light at 2700K through the glass.

We think of the Misterio as an accent and ambient light rather than a main source, so it works well on hallway walls, beside a bed or on a living room feature wall. Its 120 degree beam angle spreads a broad, even wash without a harsh hot-spot, and the warm 2700K colour brings out the amber and gold tones in the iridescent glass while the pink and violet hues stay visible around the edges once the light is on.

The light runs on 220-240V mains and is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer, so you can take it from full brightness down to a soft glow. The integrated LED renders colour at 80 CRI and the fitting is rated IP20, which suits dry indoor locations. The globe is glass and the bracket and rear fixing plate are black metal, giving the fitting the visual weight to anchor its spherical shape on the wall.
