These are two stoneware candle holders in the shape of cats, sold as a set of two, and each carries a flower-shaped cup on its back that takes a single taper candle. One cat crouches low, its body ringed with drawn stripes; the other stands on four legs, dotted with spots, with a small bird perched beside its flower. Both tails curl round into a little loop. Both are multicoloured. The smaller holder is 9.5cm long, 6.5cm wide and 8cm tall, and the larger is 12cm long, 6.5cm wide and 10cm tall, so the two candles stand at slightly different heights, which looks relaxed and natural when they sit together.
