Description
Our Milan tree is a cream paper Christmas tree decoration, 45cm tall and 29cm across at its widest. It is made from fine pleated paper that fans out into layer upon layer of rounded tiers. The tiers step outwards from a slender point at the top to a broad, flared base, giving it a symmetrical, sculpted outline that looks just as good up close as it does across the room. At 0.23KG it weighs next to nothing, which is the charm of a paper tree: all that volume and texture with none of the bulk.
At 45cm it is a tabletop size, at home on a sideboard, a mantelpiece, a console table in the hall or a deep windowsill. At 29cm across, it wants a surface at least that deep to sit fully. It also stands happily on the floor beside a staircase or a larger tree, where it adds a lower layer to a hallway display. It suits anyone who wants a Christmas tree without needles to sweep up or water to top up: a small flat, a guest room, a desk at work or a dining room that would otherwise go undecorated. Grouped with trees of other heights it becomes a little paper forest.
Its construction is folded honeycomb paper, the pleats opening out around a central spine to give each tier its depth and its scalloped edge. The finish is printed, with a fine line tracing the rim of every layer so the tiers read crisply against a plain wall or window. Paper is a material that dislikes damp, so it is happiest in a dry room. For styling, give it space and a simple backdrop: set it on a sill with a few smaller trees, a sprig of greenery or a handful of pine cones beside it, and let the layered silhouette do the work. The styling props shown are not included.

Frequently Asked
How big is the paper Christmas tree?
It stands 45cm tall and measures 29cm across at its widest tier, a tabletop size suited to a sideboard, mantelpiece or deep windowsill.
What is it made of?
It is made of paper, folded into fine pleats that open out into layered tiers, with a printed finish tracing the edges of the layers.
How heavy is it?
It weighs 0.23KG, so it is light enough for a shelf, a windowsill or a mantelpiece, and easy to lift and move as you rearrange the room.
Can it stand on the floor?
Yes. It stands on its own flared base, so as well as sitting on furniture it works on a hallway floor beside a staircase or grouped with taller trees.
What colour is it?
It is cream all over, a soft tone that sits comfortably alongside natural wood, fresh greenery and other wintry decorations around the home.
Are the other decorations included?
No. You receive the single paper tree decoration on its own, and the styling props shown with it are not included.
