Mila Wine Glasses - Clear - Set of 4

A set of four clear wine glasses, each 19.5cm tall and 8cm across at the widest, holding 375ml. The bowl is a tall tulip that draws in slightly at the rim, and the lower two thirds of it carries a cut pattern: a row of long pointed ovals standing upright, with fine vertical ribs running between and beneath them, and a band of closer ribbing at the very bottom of the bowl. The upper third is plain, and so are the stem and the round disc foot, with a faint green showing in the thicker glass at the base.

375ml is a generous bowl for a red or a white, filled to the widest point rather than to the rim. The cut pattern reads as a ring of light around the bottom of each bowl. The cut sits low, so it is under the wine rather than above it, and the plain upper third keeps the rim clear. At 19.5cm they stand about twice the height of the Mila tumblers.

The glasses are glass throughout, with the pattern carried in relief in the wall of the bowl rather than lying flat on the surface. The Mila range runs to tumblers, champagne glasses, gin glasses and decanters as well as these, in clear and in dark emerald. Four wine glasses come in the set.
