Description

Four straight sided tumblers in clear recycled glass, each 9cm tall and 8.5cm across and holding 325ml. Two rows of long pointed ovals are cut into the lower part of the wall, one row above and one below a plain band, and the top third of the glass is left uncut so the rim stays plain. The glass carries a faint green cast at the base, which is the recycled stock showing through.

325ml is a short glass rather than a long one, so it takes water at a table, a spirit over ice or juice at breakfast. At 9cm tall it sits low on a table, and the straight sides give it a base that is wide for its height. Four come in the set, which covers a table of four in one go.

The glass is recycled. Waste glass is collected and washed to remove impurities, then crushed and melted down before it is formed. The tumblers are dishwasher safe and foodsafe. The Mila range also covers gin glasses, wine glasses, champagne glasses and decanters, in dark emerald as well as clear.
