Description

The Mila is a 120cm linear suspension light built around a horizontal gold aluminium bar supporting three spherical opal glass shades, each housing an integrated LED. The gold finish is brushed rather than polished, softening reflections and giving the metal a warm tone that pairs with warm whites, creams and natural timber interiors. An opal acrylic diffuser sits beneath each glass sphere, spreading the 31W total LED output evenly beneath the bar.

Designed for dining tables 180-240cm long, kitchen islands and reception counters where horizontal light distribution is needed, the Mila's 1.2m span covers the centre zone of the table without extending to the ends. The suspension height is adjustable between 30cm and 150cm on installation, allowing the bar to be positioned 70-80cm above a dining surface in standard-height rooms or raised higher in taller spaces. Two thin suspension wires run from the bar to a rectangular gold canopy that conceals the wiring and driver.

The integrated 31W LED produces 1,204 lumens at 3000K warm white with a CRI above 85, giving accurate colour rendering for food and faces around a dinner table. The driver supports both TRIAC phase-cut dimming and 0-10V dimming protocols, making the Mila compatible with most UK trailing-edge dimmers and commercial lighting control systems. The gold bar and white glass spheres create a balanced colour palette that works in both residential and hospitality settings.

What ceiling fixing is required?

The fitting weighs 2.16kg and comes with gravity toggles for hollow ceiling installation. A standard UK ceiling rose or junction box with secure fixing into ceiling joists is recommended for plasterboard ceilings, particularly if the fitting will be installed at maximum drop where leverage on the ceiling fixing is highest.
