The Merapi Lava Platter is a 34cm diameter aluminium serving dish with a hand-textured molten edge, finished in two-tone gold and bronze. The interior is bright gold, the exterior and rim are bronze, and the edge itself is shaped to mimic the irregular flow and cooling patterns of volcanic lava. The platter is 2.5cm deep and weighs 820g.

Designed as a decorative centrepiece rather than a functional serving dish, the platter suits dining tables, console tables, coffee tables and sideboards where a metallic accent is wanted. The lava-style edge provides enough visual texture to make the piece work as standalone decor when empty, or as a base for dried arrangements, candles, or decorative objects. The platter is not food-safe and should not be used to serve or present edible items.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight manageable at 820g despite the 34cm span, so the platter can be repositioned easily between surfaces.
